My account is open. Where is the $1,000?
An open account is not confirmation of a $1,000 payment. First check eligibility, then whether you elected the pilot contribution on Form 4547. Claiming the account lets you see its history. Kids Money Map cannot see your account or confirm a deposit date.
Different account states, not a required order. Some donor deposits can arrive before you claim the account.
What to do next

Check the birth-year, citizenship and Social Security number rules.

Check your election confirmation or IRS notice. If you already elected the contribution, the IRS says you do not need to elect it again.

Look at the claimed account’s transaction history. If a request or deposit is unresolved, use the official Help Center.
We have not established a universal processing deadline. An empty balance alone does not tell us whether an election was received.
